The courage to break new ground
In our Lisetta Stories, we’ve already revealed the big news: yes, the Lisetta is being renovated! Find out what’s changing, what you can look forward to, and get exclusive behind-the-scenes insights on this page – updated every 14 days.
But don’t worry: Lisetta will still be your favourite hotel, just as you know and love it. Only a little bit more beautiful*.
*You know us – things can only get better. 😉
EXCHANGE & PERSPECTIVE CHANGE
We’ve had honest conversations with many of our regular guests and asked for their opinions. After all, they come and go at Lisetta, and they might see things from a different perspective.
A lot came up in these talks, with the most frequent mention being the car park. Over the years, it has caused quite a few headaches and the odd grey hair. This was the first issue we tackled and resolved – after all, we want our guests to arrive relaxed, not stressed from parking. 😉
YESTERDAY, TODAY & TOMORROW
For thirteen years, my parents, Brigitte and Flavio, have made Lisetta what it is today. A lot has happened during that time: many things have been renovated, renewed, and enhanced. Recently, my partner Tobi joined me in running the hotel, and we quickly realised that this is our shared dream. We all knew my parents wouldn’t be doing this forever. And so the handover to us young ones (😉) happened gradually, step by step.
In the summer of 2023, the time had come - my parents took their well-deserved retirement and we took over the reins. At first, we thought we wouldn’t want to change anything about the hotel, yet Papa Flavio, always thinking ahead, had already submitted a building project to the council. His motto: “No pressure to change, but anything is possible”. And he was right. For almost two years, Tobi and I met weekly to discuss, dream, draw, calculate, get excited, scrap everything, and start again. My parents supported us throughout as we consulted with technicians, spoke with staff, and listened to feedback from our regular guests. In the end, we followed our hearts. Just like my parents did back then.
Lisetta remains a place where guests feel at home – now and in the future.
