It’s as simple as that! However, we’d still like to introduce you to our kitchen superheroes. Gianfranco comes from Salerno, in Campania, and has all the attributes of any self-respecting chef: a knack for creating well-balanced compositions, a huge love of his craft, and a talent for delighting both the eyes and the palate.

Gianfranco - The Lisetta’s head chef

… he became a chef rather by chance (or was it fate?), because he originally wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a salesman. But somehow he ended up in the catering section of the hotel school, simply with the aim of getting his diploma and then moving on. And by the end of his training, he had already developed a passion for cooking which has never left him since. He has worked in Rome, Puglia, Portofino, Bologna and many other places, where he learned to know and love regional cuisine. He has lived in South Tyrol since 2000 and has been part of the Lisetta family since 2017.

  • the best raw materials, high quality ingredients, and fresh, seasonal produce (preferably from Meringerhof farm and the farmers’ market in the village)
  • sharing good food and culinary pleasures with other people
  • appetisers, starters, and fish in all its variations (his speciality)
  • preparing, cooking, seasoning, tasting and serving

The service in the dining room, the helpfulness of the staff and owners, the advice given to guests: we’ve never encountered anything quite like it. Here the customer is king! There’s so much on offer: top quality products (partly home-made), excellent cuisine, a lovely wellness area, superb relaxation in the outdoor pool and a splendid location with an amazing scenic view.
