A circular route through the Pordoi and Pennes passes – 302 KM
This circular route crosses some beautiful areas of the region, heading first for the east, to climb up towards the north then.
Start your trip by heading towards Bolzano along the MEBO highway. Once you have reached the city, follow the signs for Bressanone.
Shortly after having left Bolzano, enter Val D’Ega and climb up to the Costalunga Pass surrounded by the profiles of the Latemar and Rosengarten. From here, descend rapidly towards Pozza di Fasse and continue in the direction of Canazei.
Here is the beginning of the second ascent of the day – the one that leads to the Pordoi Pass. Cross the pass to head for Corvara in Badia, via Arabba. From here, go along the Gardena Valley, passing through Selva and Ortisei.
At the end of the valley, you will find yourselves along the course of Isarco. If you are tired, take the road towards Bolzano, but if you are still full of energy, head for Bressanone and then reach Vipiteno, by following motorway 12.
Here is the last climb of the day – the one leading up towards the Pennes Pass. Overstep the pass and go down along the Sarentino Valley to return to Bolzano and from there – back to the hotel.
